Hotel Description
Pension Barbakan in Cesky Krumlov is located on the rock in the south-east part of the historical center (across the street to the City Theatre). This upper part offers nice views over the river and Cesky Krumlov.
The house of the hotel is from the 18th century and it used to be part of the city walls (tower store of the gunpowder) protecting Cesky Krumlov – right in front of the gatehouse and bridge to the oldest town.
Building was recently reconstructed and refurbished (1996-2000) to meet high standards of modern accommodation requirements. Mix of different architectonical styles is here on display.
Summer terrace with a hotel resturant has a beautifull view over the Vltava river and city park.
Reception will be glad to provide arrange tickets or dry / laundry.
